I moved two weeks ago today. Once I was in the new house, it was just a lot of fun to unpack and make a new home for us. But what a mess until that day! I always thought myself to be an organized person, not a packrat in any way… but I found out I’m not what I thought I was. How could I have so much junk accumulated?
Moving was a very humbling experience to me. The job was somewhat overwhelming, and I could not have done it without my dear faithful friends. I always say that I need my friends, but this move showed me how true that was. I became accutely aware that there are some things in life that we simply cannot handle alone. Even if I had had fifty hours a day to do all that was necessary, I would still have been in great need of my friends who have skills that aren’t resident in me.
Thank you Father for my wonderful friends.
