Diamonds are nothing special, really. They started out as simple coal. They just got a lot of preferential treatment—but not the kind they would have chosen. They became diamonds because they were put under enough heat and pressure to crystallize into …diamonds, you’ve got it. No pressure, no diamonds.
My life is all about persistence under pressure. Malcolm S. Forbes once said “Diamonds are nothing more than chunks of coal that stuck to their jobs.” I like that. My life is all about persistence under pressure. Maybe I am in the process of becoming a diamond as well.
If I don’t quit, I can’t lose.
