Choices

As I spend the last day of 2006, I am reminded that I actually “spend” it. This life is quite amazing: I get to choose how I spend each day. There aren’t too many rules concerning my spending, but the ones that exist are unchangeable.
The first one is this: I can spend each day, each hour, each minute only once. I never get it back.
The second rule is quite simple: I get to choose. No one chooses for me.
The third one is a biggie: I get to reap according to my choices.

May I choose wisely today, and every day as I enter a new year. And may you do the same.
