My first group of 10 ladies made it through the first NEWAY class ever! We had a little graduation potluck dinner, and we ate like kings! The rules were simple: just bring something that we are allowed to eat, and the recipe for all of us to enjoy; we had spaghetti squash lasagna, crab dip, roasted pepper pizza, green bean salad, turkey meatloaf muffins, regular muffins, cookies, pumpkin bread, apple salad, roasted pepper soup, chicken couscous… and the list goes on and on. It was a feast.
When we added it all up, they lost 95 pounds in 6 weeks, and are on their way to a new lifestyle, a new way indeed, and so thrilled about it! No more cravings, on their way to full control over their appetites, a new outlook on life and themselves, hope for the future, stronger fingernails, more energy, less stress…
I am so thankful to the Lord; glory to His Name.
