A Psalm of Barbara Isaac

How great is the love You have lavished on me, that I should be called Your child! And that is truly what I am! For when I was dead in my sins, You made me alive with Christ, forgiving me completely. You even grafted me into Your family forever.
Oh, what confidence I now have to enter Your most Holy Place! I will draw near to You with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having my heart sprinkled clean from a guilty conscience.
I know Whom I have believed, and I am convinced that You are able to guard all that I have entrusted to You until the very end. I will hold fast to my hope, for You, the One who promised, are faithful.
At times, my heart is heavy within me and my enemies press hard against me. I feel like my emotions get the best of me. Yet even then, You are with me. You will never leave me nor forsake me. I will hide in Your presence until the storm passes by, and then I will stay some more. You are my Home, my Safety, my Rock.
You Yourself are my shepherd. You laid down Your very life for me. In Your Presence, all strife dissipates and I am at peace. You surely will meet all my needs with Your tender lovingkindness. I will open wide my mouth, for You will fill it. Your blessing makes me rich in every way, and You add no sorrow to it.
You are the LORD my God who delivered me out of my prison, and You brought me into a spacious place. You rescued me because You delight in me. I will give thanks to Your holy Name in the midst of the congregation. My heart will sing praises to You.
Your Word washes me and reminds me of the truth.
May my life give You glory, O Lord.
You are coming soon for me and You will bring me to Your home where we will dwell together forever and ever. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
