What About Me?

So, seriously, what about me?

I give all day long: to my husband, to my children, to my clients, to my community.

So, seriously, what about me?

I love all day long: my husband, my children, my clients, my community.

So, seriously, what about me?

Me? I already got mine, thank you very much.

His name is Jesus. He gave and gave and gave and gave and loved and loved and loved and loved so that I could be me.

I already got mine.

  1. Yes, the shift of focus from the mirror to His face . . .such freedom and fulfillment in that . Lillies of the Valley remind me of my grandparents. They had them against the foundation of their house while I was growing up with them on weekends.

    • Did you see them? The winter was so mild that mine already are coming up; they normally never do until the end of May. In Belgium where I come from, we always have them by May 1st. Nice talking to you, Sandra!

  2. It’s so easy to say, “It’s not all about me,” but not so easy to feel that way when we’ve been emptied of so much by family, church and community commitments. This is a wonderful reminder that Christ gave his all for us. Thank you, Barbara, and also for sharing some of your 1000 Gifts with us, too.
