Wonderfully Becoming

Looking at myself in the mirror, I feel like crying; when will I ever get there?

Then His hand rests upon mine, and His eyes dig deep into mine.

“You are wonderfully becoming. From the moment I made you Mine I have been crafting you, molding you, shaping you. You are beautiful to me.”

I fall for the thousandth time today, and frustration is rising; when will I ever get it?

Then His hand rests upon mine, and His eyes dig deep into mine.

“You are wonderfully becoming. From the moment I made you Mine I have been crafting you, molding you, shaping you. You are beautiful to me.”

I can’t get away from me, myself and I; when will I ever let go?

Then His hand rests upon mine, and His eyes dig deep into mine.

“You are wonderfully becoming. From the moment I made you Mine I have been crafting you, molding you, shaping you. You are beautiful to me.”

  1. “Wonderfully becoming” – love that thought. When I look in the mirror, I see my body growing older and getting worse, so I love being reminded that on the INSIDE (which is where it counts!), the Lord continues to transform me into something better. My 50th birthday is in a few weeks, so I need to keep this fresh on my mind. 🙂

  2. Beautiful post. I am with you, sometimes I just want to be better. But God is more concerned and interested in the PROCESS we go through, not necessarily the final outcome.

  3. So beautiful! Isn’t it wonderful to know that He is continuing to work on us? Molding us and making us all He wants us to be! Thank you for sharing and linking up at Simply Helping Him last week! Blessings!
