The Alphabet of Life–Y is for YELL

In the Alphabet of Life, Y is for YELL. Because yelling can be very good at times.

Yelling means that you are alive, and you feel and you react. And God is not at all against that.

Yelling means that you have a voice, and you use it and you express yourself. And God is not at all against that.

God is not even against anger, when handled correctly.

Wrong, ungodly yelling has everything to do with control: losing it, or wanting to use it on other people. And that, God is against.

God is against ungodly yelling because it serves one purpose only: to feed the flesh. And when the flesh is fed, some pretty rotten fruits show up. They stink. They make you sick. They make others sick. They are contagious.

Yelling in itself is neither right nor wrong.

Yelling can save lives.

Yelling can wake us up to what matters.

Yelling can be our declaration of truth, spoken loud so that it drowns out all other voices. And that is how it ought to be.

In the Alphabet of Life, Y is for YELLING.

He will yet fill your mouth with laughter And your lips with shouting. Job 8:21
