When you are a personal trainer and an exercise instructor, back pain is not a very good thing.

It had been going on for days, and every little movement sent shooting pain through my entire body. I found myself calling on the name of the Lord time and time again for relief. I popped pain pills in my mouth. Whatever was causing the pain wasn’t budging. And I was getting discouraged.

As I maneuvered my throbbing body into bed last night, I again asked my heavenly Father to please take care of me. And then I fell into delightful sleep. When I woke up pain-free this morning, my heart soared with joy–I could breathe, I could move, I could twist. Even jump! My back was healed!

I got on my knees to thank my God who takes such good care of me. “Thank you Dad,” I whispered, “for healing my back.”

And as clear as can be, I heard Him respond to me, “I’ve got your back.”

Indeed, Dad, You do.
